Funeral services for Milton Tracy Jefferson, 72, of Ridgecrest, LA will be  held Saturday, May 16, 2026  at 11:00am at the St. James Baptist Church in Frogmore, LA under the directions of Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday, LA. Visitation will be held on Friday evening from 5 to 6pm at the funeral home. Pastor Eddie Schiele will officiate and burial will follow at the church cemetery.

Mr. Jefferson, son of Alice Jefferson, was born in Ferriday and died at his residence.

He leaves to honor his life and legacy, his children, Milton T. Cauley and   Venessa A. Curtis both of Atlanta, GA; Jessica Cauley of Baytown, TX; Katina Cauley who was raised as his own daughter of Lake Charles, LA; four brothers, Willie (Lucille) Jefferson of New Orleans, LA; Isiah Jefferson of Houston, TX; Ronald and Donald Jefferson both of Ferriday; two sisters, Alice Jefferson and Janice Strickland both of Ridgecrest; two aunts, Ethel Jefferson Jackson and Leola Jefferson Harbor ; one uncle, L. V. Jefferson all of Ferriday. Also a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
