Funeral services for Noah James Pecanty , 3, of Jonesville (Sandy Lake), LA will be held Monday, October 7, 2024 at 10am from the Goodroad Pentecostal Church, 112 Goodroad, Jonesville, LA under the directions of Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday, LA. Burial will follow at the Pecanty Cemetery in Monterey, LA. Bro. Chad Franklin and Bro. David Poole will officiate.

Noah, son of Tyler Freeman Pecanty and Emily Carter Book, was born in Shreveport, LA and died at his residence. He was a student at the Catahoula Headstart in Joneville.

He leaves to cherish his sweet memories are:  his parents, Tyler Freeman Pecanty and Emily Carter Book; two brothers, Ashyton Pecanty all of Jonesville; Dakota Taylor of Bossier City, LA; his paternal grandmother, Melissa Freeman ; maternal grandmothers, Canlance Ward both of Jonesville; Yolanda Carter of Vidalia, LA; Virgie Carter of Harrisonburg, LA; paternal grandfather, Perry Pecanty of Monterey, LA. And his classmates and teachers, Alisha Hooper and Sasha Raspon at Catahoula Headstart in Jonesville, LA.

Noah is preceded in death by his stepfather, Chevy T. Book; three siblings, Bishop, Arianna and Gracelyn Pecanty; grandparents and great-grandparents, Gloria Freeman, Bobbie Pecanty, Norman R. Pecanty, Curtis Freeman, Richard Carter, Sr., and Luther E. Carter.
