Funeral services for Oliver King, 64, of Ferriday, LA will be held Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at 12:00 noon from the Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Roxie, MS. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

Mr. King, son of Charley and Ellen Ozan King was born in Ashley, MS and died at Heritage Manor Health & Rehab Center in Ferriday. He was a brick mason.

He is survived by three sons, Oliver Hughes of Houston, TX; Terry Williams and Oliver Williams of Natchez, MS; two daughters, Peggy Smith of Natchez; Tatyana King of Atlanta, GA; three brothers, Willie King and his wife, Connie; Phillip King and his Bobbie of Covington, GA; Connie Brown and his wife, Thelia of New Orleans; one sister, Joy Mayes of Ferriday; two special nieces, Jaqueline Johnson and her husband Keitherick; Antwine Carter and her husband, Reggie all of Ferriday; four grandchildren; one uncle, Percy Bernard and his wife, Bertha of Natchez; special friend, Ruby Beamer of Natchez; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mr. King is preceded in death by his parents.
