Graveside service for Ora Harris, 54, of Baton Rouge, LA formerly of Ferriday, LA will be held Thursday, December 9, 2021 at 10:00am from Ferriday Cemetery under the directions of Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 5 to 6pm at the funeral home.

Miss Harris, daughter of Burnell Barden and Margie Harris was born in Monroe, LA and died at the Baton Rouge General Hospital in Baton Rouge.

She is survived by one daughter, Orrion Harris of Baton Rouge, LA; two sisters, Deborah Harris and Debbie Harris Lewis and her husband, Jerry all of Ferriday;  a number of aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.  Preceding her in death are her parents and a brother, Melvin Thomas.

I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one.

I'd like to leave an afterglow of smiles when my life is done.

I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the way

Of happy times and laughing times

And bright and sunny days.

I'd like the tears of those who grieve,
