Funeral services for Patsy Johnson, 84, of Ferriday, LA, who passed on Oct. 29, 2026, at her residence with her loving family, at her bedside, will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 7, 2026, at Mercy Seat B.C., Ferriday, LA with Pastor Tron Lewis officiating.  Burial will follow at Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home, Ferriday.

Visitation will be on Friday, from 4 to 6PM, at the funeral home.

Patsy Johnson was born Jan. 21, 1942, of Clayton, LA, the daughter of Willie Metcalf, Sr. and Mary Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Shenita Dunbar; two brothers, Willie A. Metcalf, Howard Metcalf; one sister, Rosemary Metcalf.

Patsy leaves to cherish her loving memories to her son, Stacy Johnson, his wife Tameka; one daughter, Renata Johnson, both of Ferriday, LA; eleven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild; a host of other family and friends.
