Funeral services for Percy Lee Carter, 69, of Ferriday, LA will be held Sunday, February 28, 2021 at 1:00pm at Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday. Burial will follow at the Ferriday Cemetery under the directions of Concordia Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Sunday from 12 noon to service time at the funeral home.

Mr. Carter, son of Tom and Pauline Smith Carter was born in Frogmore, LA and died at the Heritage Manor Health and Rehab Center in Ferriday. He was a farm equipment operator.

He is survived by one daughter, Denise Carter  of Sacramento, CA; his siblings, Joseph Carter and his wife, Mildred of Ferriday; Charles Carter, Sallie Borrow and Carolyn Bates all of Richmond, CA; one aunt, Martha Branch of Jonesville, LA.

Also a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
