RICHARD CARTER

A memorial service for Richard Carter, 56 years of Ridgecrest, LA will be held on August 25, 2026. The time and place will be announced at a later date. Mr. Carter, son of Richard and Virgie Dupruis Carter, was born in Ferriday, LA and died at the East Jefferson General Hospital in Metairie, LA. He was a carpenter.

Preceding him in death are his parents and a brother, Luther Carter.

He leaved to honor his life and legacy, one brother, Ben Carter of Monterey, LA; one sister, Yolanda Carter of Harrisonburg, LA; his fiance'  Tammy Jo Wall of Ferriday; two sons. Michael Carter oh Homer, GA and Brandon Carter of Toledo, OH; four step-daughters, Mindy Partridge of Ridgecrest, LA; Nicky Dobson of Pinegrove, LA; Brittany Wall of Hammond, LA and Amy Wall of Natchez, MS.  Also thirteen grand,  one great-grandchild and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
