Funeral services for Rickey M. Thomas, 55, of Vidalia, will be held Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 11:00am from Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Concordia Park, Vidalia, LA with Rev. Earnest Ford, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow at the Vidalia Cemetery under the directions of Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday, LA. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 4 to 6pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Thomas, son of George Washington, Sr. and Mary Bell Thomas was born in Natchez, MS and died at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday. He was a custodian for Camelot Leisure Living Nursing Home in Ferriday.

He is survived by two daughters, RaQuita T. Weathers and her husband, John of Atlanta, GA; RaKeema T. Toussaint and her husband, Marcus of Lottie, LA; one step son , Christopher Drumgoole and his son, Ezra of Spokane, WA; two brothers, Lionell Thomas of Vidalia and George Washington, Jr. of Columbia, MS; eight sisters, Ulane Beachman of Lake Elsinore, CA; Sylvia Thomas and her husband, Moses Williams; Doretha Thomas all of Vidalia; Katherine McNally of Sacramento, CA; Alberta Schiele, Dorothy Poole, Novella Turner and her husband, Eddie, Jr., and Lucille Boxley and her husband, Charles all of Ferriday; one grandson, Elijah Canaan Weathers of Atlanta, GA and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
