Funeral services for Robert Andrel "Swabo"  Allen, 41, of Ferriday, LA, were held  May 10, 2024, Tuesday, at Living Word Worship Center with Minister Dwight Greene officiating. Burial followed at the Vidalia Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday.

Robert Andrel Allen, the youngest of five children,   was born, September 28, 1982 in Natchez, MS to the parents of Gene T.  and Bonnie Andrews Allen and died at his residence.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert Riley and Erma Hagan Allen; maternal grandparents, Joe "Joe Boy" and Ernestine Rand Andrews; one uncle, Fred P. Brown; special great uncle and aunt, Ernest and Jennie Tibbs Hagan.

Robert wore several hats throughout his lifetime.  He graduated from Vidalia High School, Class of 2000 and majored in Computer Technology at Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, LA. . Amongst this , he was a Louisiana License Funeral Director, Louisiana License Insurance Producer, U.S Supreme Council 33, Pride of Vidalia Lodge #106, Rosewood Chapter #65  O. E. S. #65 of Vidalia, Herions Of Jericho, King Solomon Temple, Monroe , LA, ,Dubar Temple 250 Winnsboro, as well as the "The Three  Amigos". His hobbies were "Old Skool Cars", motorcycles, cooking his favorite "Hot Pots" for family and friends; spending time with his family and friends and eating out at various restaurants.

His life, love and legacy will forever live on in the hearts and lives of his family: his parents, his four siblings, Lisa Abron (Earl) of Vidalia;   Gene A . Jones (Brenda) of Natchez; Genesia  Allen-Jefferson (Gaylon)  of Ferriday and  Melanie "Penny" Allen of Stafford TX. His god parents,  Lewis and Vina Matthews Sr.  of Ferriday; his god brothers,  Fredrick Brown (Lachendra)  of Memphis TN; Lewis "Lil Slick" Matthews Jr. and  Farren Lewis, both of Ferriday; god sister,  Cynthia Walker ( Anthony)  of Lawton OK. His two good friends Katrelle "Trelle" Jefferson of  Ferriday and William Blanton of Natchez, and a host of nieces , nephews, other friends and family.

Also fifteen aunts, Gwen Allen of Natchez, Odeal Bowman and DiAnthony Paul both of Vidalia; Brenda Bowman of New Orleans, LA; Betty Mason of Roanoke, TX, Maxine Clemons of Swartz Creek, MI, Carnell  Allen Tyler (Ernest) of Lake Worth, FL; Velma Peyton and Gloria Palmer both of San Diego, CA, Adella Jackson of Karnack, TX, Bettie J. Brown of Dallas, TX; Carletta Garlington, Mary Rose Langum, Darlene Farr all of Kansas City, MO; Jacintha Galloway (Carroll) of Chicago, IL; one great-aunt, M. A. Andrews of Jefferson, TX; four uncles, Robert Hauer (Deborah) of Blue Springs, MO; Carlos Andrews (Debra) of Natchez; Calvin Riley of Illinois, MO; Billy Ray Williams of Jefferson, TX.
