Funeral services for Robert E. "Knob" Hargrave, Sr., 42,of Ferriday, LA will be held Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 11:00am from the Jerusalem Baptist Church in Natchez, MS. Burial will follow at the Mercy Seat Church Cemetery in Sibley, MS with Rev. Earnest Ford officiating.

Visitation will be Friday May 29, 2015 from 4 to 6pm at funeral home.

Mr. Hargrave, son of Eddie Hargrave, Jr. and Gloria Turner Harris was born in Natchez, MS and died from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Ferriday. He was a 1992 graduate of Vidalia High School; attended Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA and was a truck driver.

He is survived b his wife, Shelrecker Brown Hargrave of Ferriday; his father and his wife, Eddie and Doris Hargrave of Vidalia; his mother, Gloria T. Harris of Natchez; his children, Robert Hargrave, Jr. and Kennadi Hargrave of Ferriday; Zion Hargrave of Houston, TX; Detrique Sims of Natchez; two sisters, Gloria McKnight and her husband, Calvin; Jamie Lewis and her husband, Overton; two brothers, Mizell Noble and his wife Naila all of Natchez; Edwin Hargrave of Vidalia; five uncles; thirteen aunts; two brothers-in-law.

Also his mother-in-law, Lucy Brown of Ferriday; grandparents, Willie Turner Ferriday; Thelma Noble of Natchez; godson, Zavier Davis of Ridgecrest, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by two brothers, Paul F. Turner and Eddie Hargrave, III; one sister, Margaret Jackson; grandparents, Eddie and Julia Hargrave; Maeola Turner, Florida Turner, Zerlia Thomas; father-in-law Samuel Brown, III; two uncles and a nephew.

"Knob" will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
