Funeral services for Ronald "Ricky" Scott, 65, of Ferriday, LA will be held Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 11:00am from the Word of Faith Ambassador Outreach Church in Ferriday. Burial will follow at the St. James Church Cemetery in Frogmore, LA with Rev. Eddie Schiele officiating. Visitation will be Friday evening from 4 to 7pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Scott, son of Ruthie Mae Scott Green and the late Emanuel Scott was born in Natchez, MS and died at his residence. He was a 1971 honor graduate  of Ferriday High School with twelve years of perfect attendance. After high school graduation, he enrolled at Grambling State University. There he   completed his studies in three years and graduated in 1974 with honors.

He is survived by his mother, Ruthie Scott Green of Ferriday; one daughter, Lolita Wright of Maryland; twin sons, Kerry and Gary Fair of Las Vegas, NV; one brother, Donel Ray Scott and his wife, Patricia of Ruston, LA; two sisters, Brenda Carter Harris and her husband, Hymes of Ferriday;  Connie Warner and her husband, Willie of Vidalia, LA.

Also a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many friends and relatives.
