Ronnie Warren Green, 64, of Ferriday, LA went to be with the Lord and Savior and to be reunited with his parents, Barker and Willie Mae James Green . He was born in Monterey, LA and died at his residence following a long illness. Ronnie had a loving family and close friends who will forever feel his loss.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 11:00am from the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, 813 Moose Lodge Road in Vidalia, LA under the directions of Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday, LA. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 5 to  6pm at the funeral home. Burial will be held at 12:30pm on Monday , April 28, 2025 at the Natchez National Cemetery in Natchez, MS.

Mr. Green was a US Army Veteran, having served in the military from 1981 to 1984, earning an honorable discharge.

He is survived by two brothers, Maalik  and his twin Lonnie Richard Green; six  sisters, Ethel Stepney (Joe); Lucille Wells; Kathy Green Thompson (Cecil) all of Ferriday; LaSandra Holt (Alfred) of Vidalia; Samirah Jamka (Greg)  Matterson, IL; Maryam Salahuddin of Los Angeles, CA; a god-sister, Geri Jones (James). In addition to a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Preceding Mr. Green in death are his parents; four sisters, Carole Green Brown, Khalidah Uwakee, Angela Green  Margaret Green,  one nephew, Jamaal Stacker and a brother-in-law, Sam Wells, Sr. Together, they are reunited in everlasting rest.
