Ronnie "Jammin Jones" Jones, 62, of Ferriday, LA, who is passed Apr. 16, 2026 at The Carpenter House in Lafayette, LA, will be at 1:00 PM, Saturday, April 25, 2026, Rising Sun B.C., Clayton, LA, with Pastor Don Lucas, Sr. officiating.  Burial will follow at the Ferriday Cemetery.  Services are entrusted to Concordia Funeral Home, Ferriday.  Visitation will be on Friday from 3:00PM to 5:00PM at the funeral home.

Ronnie Earl Jones was born on Feb. 23, 1964, in Ferriday, the son of Ellis and Marie Jones Williams.

He was preceded in death by his father; one brother, Lonnie Williams; maternal grandparent, Pinky Jones; one aunt, Mary Yearby; uncle and his wife, Joe & Louis Jones; two nephews, Randy Williams, George Penn; two nieces, Ann Jones, Janelle Penn.

"Jammin Jones" was survived by his mother, Marie Jones Williams; his siblings, Helen Leonard, both of Ferriday, LA; Robert Comradd, Bobbie Robertson, both of TX; his aunts, Annie McKinney, Ella Townsend, Ferriday; two step - children he reared as his own Tiana Hearn, Everett Hearn, both of Ferriday; and a host of nieces and nephews.
