Funeral services for Rosie Walker, 80, of Ferriday, LA will be held Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at 11:00am from Mercy Seat Baptist Church in Ferriday under the directions of Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday. Burial will follow at Ferriday Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday evening from 4 to 6pm at the funeral home. Pastor Danny Lewis will officiate.

Mrs. Walker, daughter of Silas Branch and Dorothy Edwards, was born in Ferriday and died at Camelot Leisure Living Home in Ferriday.

She is survived by her one son, Samuel Edwards and his wife, Sharon of Ferriday; one daughter, Christine Davis of Natchez, MS; one brother, Leonard Branch of Ferriday; four sisters, Mary Allen of San Antonio, TX; Ruby Branch of Palmdale, CA; Elizabeth Hardman of Lancaster, CA; Gladys Edwards of Ferriday; two aunts, Ruby Conner of Baton Rouge, LA and Edna Carter of Las Vegas, NV.

Also a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Preceding her in death are her parents, her husband, David Walker, three sons, Daniel Edwards, David Edwards and Don Bell.
