Funeral services for Rowena White Barnes, 93, of Ferriday, LA will be held Monday, October 19, 2015 at 10:30am from Concordia Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest beside her husband, Josh Barnes at the Natchez National Cemetery in Natchez, MS with Pastor Irene Chatman officiating.

Mrs. Barnes, a daughter of Ben White and Millie Castor White was born in Ferriday and died at Heritage Manor Health & Rehab Center in Ferriday. She was the last of twelve children of her parents.

She is survived by one son, Bobby Barnes; two daughters, Bernice White and Deloyd White and her husband, James all of Ferriday; eight grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, one son, Ledell White, six brothers and five sisters.
