Funeral services for Ruby Maxine Jones, 70, of Vidalia, LA, who passed away on March 30, 2026, at Trinity Medical Center in Ferriday, LA, will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, Apr. 11, 2026, at Greater Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church in Vidalia.

Interment will follow at Vidalia Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday.

Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 6PM at the funeral home.

Ruby Maxine Jones was born on November 30, 1955, in Natchez, MS, to the late Ameal Reese and Lucinda Brown Banks.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Opie Jones; and two brothers, John Banks and William Banks.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories: two sons, Craig Jones (Genia) of Humble, TX, and Tremaine Jones (Jackie); one sister, Deloris Brown; one aunt, Alberta Brown, all of Vidalia, LA; along with a host of other relatives and dear friends.
