Services for Mrs. Sallie Tyler Calhoun, 91,of Ferriday, LA will be held May 24, 2014 at 2:30pm from St. James Baptist Church on Skipper rive in Ferriday. Burial will follow at Ferriday Cemetery.

Mrs. Calhoun, daughter of Leroy and Evaline Gordan Tyler was born in Vidalia, LA and died at the Grace Home in Alexandria, LA. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by one on, Raymond Calhoun; one daughter Roberta Calhoun both of Ferriday; thirteen grandchildren; twenty two great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Virginia Calhoun Prater; one brother, Leroy Tyler, Jr. and two sisters, Roxie Carter and Louise Calhoun.
