Funeral services for Sandra J. Fisher, 51, of St. Joseph, LA will be held, Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 2:00pm from Guildfield Baptist Church in St. Joseph. Burial will follow at the New China Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in St. Joseph. Rev. Jake Newman will officiate. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 4 to 6pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Fisher, daughter of William Alexander and Carolyn Marie Shepherd, was born in Newellton, LA and died in Lake Village, AR from injuries sustained in an auto crash. She also lost her beloved puppy.

She is preceded in death by her parents; three siblings, Robert, Peter and Darlene Alexander.

Survivors are two daughters, Carolyn Shepherd of Monroe, LA and Sondrea Shepherd Paskel of Dallas, TX; four brothers, James Carter of Oakland, CA; Adrian Wells and his wife, Manuela of Gatesville, TX; Tommy James of Simmsboro, LA; William Alexander, Jr. and his wife, Arnita of West Monroe, LA; six sisters, Georgia Spurs and Debra Alexander both of Newellton, LA; Shelly Alexander, Barbara Alexander and Victoria Alexander all of Indianapolis, IN; Lettie Brown and her husband Jacob of Winnsboro, LA; one aunt, Irma Gayle of Newellton; and seven grandchildren.
