Services for Shelly N. Woodruff, 61, of Ferriday, LA will be held Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 11:00am at Concordia Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Ferriday Cemetery.

Mrs. Woodruff, daughter of Albert and Willie Mae Webb Nix was born in Ferriday and died at her residence. She was a certified nurse's assistant.

Survivors include her husband, Frank Woodruff; five children she raised as her own, Gerald Nix and wife Shelia; Dana Nix, Tangela Jackson all of New Orleans, LA; Coletha Francois ad husband Cyril of Kenner, la; two sisters, Judy Naquin and husband, Randy of Laplace, LA; Edna Stacker of Sicily Island, LA; one aunt, Annie Nix of Natchez, MS; one uncle, Willie Nix of Clayton, LA; two sisters-in-law, Corean Miller of New Orleans, LA; Joyce Martin and husband Eddie Lee of Ferriday; her mother-in-law, Quennie Woodruff of Ferriday.

She is preceded in death by her parents and four sisters.
