Funeral services for Mrs. Shirley M. Hilliard, 72, of Clayton, LA will be held Sunday, January 26, 2020 at the St. Mark Baptist Church in Clayton. Burial will follow at the Ferriday Cemetery under the directions of Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday, LA. Pastor Kevin Davis will officiate. A visitation will be held Saturday evening from 5 to 7pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Hilliard, daughter of Louis and Margaret Johnson Webster was born in Lettsworth, LA and died at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, LA. She was a retired cook for Ferriday Lower Elementary School for twenty five years. She was a excellent cook and enjoyed cooking for her family, students, neighbors and friends.

She is survived by her children, Michael Johnson;  Joseph Watson and his wife, Wanda; Pamela Thompson and her husband, Gregory  all of Clayton; Robert Johnson and his wife, Tonya; Sharon Mayse and her husband, Eddie all of Ferriday; one brother, Louis Webster, Jr. of Ferriday; one sister, Louise Barnes Howard of Natchez, MS; twenty seven grandchildren, forty two great-grandchildren, a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and loved ones.

Also her husband, Andrew Hilliard of Clayton. Mrs. Hilliard is preceded in death by her parents.
