Funeral services for Miss Shirley Percy, 61, of Ferriday, LA will be held Friday, July 10, 2015 at 11:00am from the Harvest Baptist Church in Ferriday. Burial will follow at the Clayton Garden of Rest Cemetery in Clayton, LA with Pastor Charles Chandler officiating.

Miss Percy, daughter of Will and Thelma Percy McCarthy was born in Clayton and died at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, LA. She was a retired school teacher for Concordia Parish School System.

Her survivors are: one brother and his wife, Will and Thelma McCarthy of Shreveport, LA; three sisters, Dorothy Evans of Shreveport; Sadie Foster of Austin, TX; Gloria Green and her husband, Cedric of Ferriday; three faithful cousins, Marie Jenkins of Vidalia, LA; Sally Brown of Clayton; Charles Percy of Shreveport.

Also a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She is preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Vera Duke and one brother, Leon Boxley.
