Services for Mother Shirley Mae  Trust Bowman, 74, of Vidalia, LA will be held December 8, 2018 at 11:00am from the Greater Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church in Vidalia with Evang. Ima Dunbar Thomas officiating. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 5 to 7pm at Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday, LA. She will be laid to rest beside her husband, Roosevelt Bowman at the Vidalia Cemetery.

Mrs. Bowman, daughter of Juluis "Jr." Trust     and  Mary Eliza   Saul Scott was born in Vidalia and died at the Promise Hospital in Baton Rouge, LA. She was
a member of Greater Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church in Vidalia, LA  where she served on the Mother's Board and a member of the choir. She was also a member of the American Legion Post 590 of Vidalia;
Krewe of Heart and Soul; Vidalia Memorial Day Committee and a former member of the Rosewood Chapter #65 of Vidalia.

She is survived by three sons, Stevie Trust and his wife Rosalyn of Vidalia; Roosevelt Trust and his wife, Sheemeka of Las Vegas, NV;    Johnny A. Trust and his wife, Paula of State College, PA; one daughter, Shelia Trust of Vidalia; four sisters, Delores Bell,  Madeline Scott, Alma Jean Bowman and her husband, Leonard; Henrietta Ryan and her husband, Carl; one aunt, Beatrice Saul; one grandson she reared from an infant, Robert Lee Gardner, Jr., all of Vidalia. Also ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Don E. Scott.
