Funeral services for Stevie D. Trust, 64, of Memphis, TN, formerly of Vidalia, LA, will be at 11:00AM, Saturday, Aug. 23, 2025, at Greater Mt. Carmel M.B.C., Vidalia, LA, with Dr. Raymond Riley officiating.  Burial will be on Monday, (Burial time will be updated soon) Aug. 25, 2025 at the Natchez National Cemetery, under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home, Ferriday, LA.

Visitation will be on Saturday, 10:00AM until service time at the church.

Stevie Dewayne Trust was born February 21, 1961 to Shirley Trust Bowman & Willie Eugene Emery Sr. (Dubee) in Vidalia, Louisiana.  He departed this earthly life August 12, 2025 in Memphis, TN.

He was preceded in death by his loving mother, Shirley Trust Bowman and bonus dad Roosevelt Bowman, his father, Willie Eugene Emery Sr., his bonus children, Tamika Davis and Jamarcus Turner, and bonus grandchild, Devonti Boose, grandparents, Mary Scott, Julius "Junior" Trust, and  Aristead and Adeline Williams Emery.

Stevie Trust leaves to cherish his memories, a loving wife of 15 years Rosalyn Trust of Memphis, TN, three children:  Tosha Lee (Larry) of Memphis, TN,  Stevie Trust, Jr (Nicole) of Garland, TX, and Sherniqua Trust of Garland, TX,  twelve grandchildren:  Devin Trust, Tamya Taylor, Caden Taylor, Jniya Hamilton, Kailani Hamilton, Ariona Trust, Amir Trust,  Azyl Trust, Journee Turner, Tyrionne Davis, Tytionna Davis,  Tyreese Davis and one bonus great-grandchild, Kaden Boose;  four brothers: Willie Christopher Emery (Shirley) of Natchez, MS.  Walter Emery (Jasmine) of Ferriday, LA,  Roosevelt Bowman Trust (Shemeka) of Vidalia, LA,  and Johnny Trust (Eric) of Albuquerque, NM,  and six sisters:  Sanquenett Allen of Natchez, MS, Sheila Trust-Gardner and Darlene Beamer of Vidalia, LA,   Karen Whitley (Alvin) of Auburn Hills, MI,  Diana Singleton (Gary) of Richmond, TX and  Pansie Gaines (Tyrone) of Katy, TX;  four sisters-in-law:  Monica Turner, Yvette Johnson (Tony), Natalie Turner (Gregory) of Memphis, TN,  and Tiffany Laboy (Aaron) of Chicago, IL;  four brothers-in-law: Walter Williams (Janice) and James Williams Jr. (Alisha) of Memphis, TN;  Darryl McFarland  and Octavius McFarland of Chicago, IL;  five aunts:  Delores Bell,  Madeline Scott, Alma Bowman (Leonard), Henrietta Ryan (Carl) and one bonus aunt, Rhoda Whitley all of Vidalia, LA;  one uncle; Rome (Charollette) Emery of Natchez, MS; mother-in-law: Nynie Williams of Memphis, TN; bonus aunts:  Lee Pearl Batieste of Natchez, MS, and Sarah Mitchell (Albert) of Garland, TX, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Stevie received his General Educational Development -Certificate from Concordia Parish School System.  He was a member of the Army National Guard and received an honorable discharge.  Stevie was a former employee of The Town of Vidalia and the City of Garland, TX.  He worked for many years for Walmart of Vidalia, LA in several positions before becoming a door greeter, and he worked for PF Webb of Memphis, TN.   Stevie loved to BBQ and was a very active fisherman.
