Funeral services for Mrs. Susie Williams, 92, of Ferriday, LA will be held Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 11:00am from St. John Baptist Church on Lake St. John in Ferriday. Burial will follow at the Consurella Cemetery in Waterproof, LA with Bishop Justin Conner officiating. Visitation will be held be held Tuesday evening from 4pm to 6pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Williams, daughter of Randal and Nancy Kenny Dixon was born in Newellton, LA and died at her residence. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by four sons, O. C. Williams of Chicago, IL; Hersey Williams and his wife, Elizabeth; Shelby Williams all of Ferriday; Carl Williams of Tulsa, OK; six daughters, Helen Jones and her husband, Felix; Jackie Nell Williams and Rose Williams all of Ferriday; Martha Wilson and Blanche Williams both of Chicago; Cora Monday of Tulsa, OK.

Also two brothers, Leon Dixon of Penter Burn, MS and Willie Dixon of Salida, CA; eighteen grandchildren, thirty two great grandchildren, thirty five great-great-grandchildren, a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Mrs. Williams is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Johnny Williams, one son, Johnnie Williams, one daughter, Nancy Warren, three brothers, Ernest Dixon, Ullman Dixon and Eugene Williams and several sisters.
