Funeral services for Theodore Roosevelt Schiele, 84, of Ferriday, LA will be held Thursday, November 19, 2015 at 10:00am from New Morning Star Baptist Church in Ferriday. Burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery in Natchez, MS. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 4 to 6pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Schiele, son of Benjamin and Eliza Sena Schiele was born in Frogmore, LA and died at his residence. He was a US Army veteran, having served in the Korean War from 1952 to 1954 earning an honorable discharge. He was a retired oilfield mechanic.

He is survived by his wife, Alberta Washington Schiele of Ferriday, LA; five sons, Darren Schiele of San Jose, CA; Lonnie Stacker and his wife Corintha, of Selma, TX; Theodore Schiele; Eric Schiele and wife, Terika, all of Baton Rouge, LA; Paul Schiele and his wife, Rosalind of Ferriday; five daughters, Linda Edwards and her husband, L. J.; Carla Washington; Shalonda Schiele and her husband, Edmond, all of Ferriday; Suzette Boston and her husband, John of Austin, TX; Monique Jones of Dallas, TX; three god children, Patricia Green, Netrina England and Buddy Rouse all of Ferriday; his neighbor and good friend for over forty years, Cleveland Deleho and his wife, Lillie Mae; a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and cousins

He is preceded in death by his parents, six brothers and si sisters.
