A memorial service for THEODORE SHINARD, 43 of Ferriday, LA will be  May 18, 2024 at 11am from the Mount Olive Baptist Church in Ferriday under the directions of Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday.

Mr. Shinard, son of Theodore Walker and Helen Shinard Taylor was born in Monroe, LA and died at the Our Lady of the Lake Medical Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

He was employed as a forklift operator. One of Theodore's favorite pastime was singing and writing music.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his father and step mother, Theodore and Evelyn Walker of Ferriday; three sons,, Theodore Shinard, Jr. of Texas; Shemar Jordan and Joshua Shinard ;three brothers, Calvin "CalRay" Smith all  of Ferriday; David Walker and Jamereon O'Steen of Houston, TX; three sisters, Gloria Hall of Houston; Shamicka O'steen and LaShaundria O'steen both of Jonesville, LA. A special aunt, Judy Kirkland of Houston, TX and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Theodore is preceded in death by his mother.
