Funeral services for Thomas Martin, Jr. 44, of Ferriday, LA will be held February 20, 2016 at St. James Baptist Church on Skipper Drive in Ferriday. Burial will follow at Ferriday Cemetery with Rev. Lee A. Martin officiating.

Mr. Martin, son of Thomas Martin, Jr. and Patricia Johnson Martin, was born in Pineville, LA and died at the Natchez Merit Hospital in Natchez, MS.

He is survived by his parents; two sons, Andre Keys and Tevion Carter; two daughters, Tajaree McCray and Shandrika Leonard; five brothers, Derrick Lewis and Cecil Martin all of Ferriday; P. L. Jefferson of Cartersville, GA; Luvell Lewis of Vidalia, LA; Irvin Martin and his wife, Sharon of St. Joseph, LA; one sister, Debra Bates and her husband, Charles of Baton Rouge, LA; two grandchildren, Trevon Green, Jr. and Taraji Butler; maternal grandmother, Ruby Johnson all of Ferriday; and a number of other relatives and friends.

Preceding him in death are one brother, Yuan Henderson; one son, Devante Keys and one daughter, Patricia Martin.
