Services for Tommie E. Curry, 63, of Ferriday, LA will be held Friday, August 29, 2014 at 10:00am from Mt. Beulah Baptist Church in Ferriday. Burial will follow at the National Cemetery with military honors in Natchez, MS. Rev. Eugene Williams will officiate.

Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 5pm to 8pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Curry, son of Herman Curry, Sr. and Willie Mae Coleman Curry was born in Ferriday and died at his residence following a short illness. He was a United States Marine Corp veteran, having served his country from 1970 to 1971. He was also a technician for a cable company.

Survivors include his mother; his step mother, Dorothy Curry both of Ferriday; one son; one grandson; nine brothers, five sisters; two aunts and one uncle. And a host of extended family members and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father.
