Services for Tynisha Leonard, 34, of Ferriday, LA will be held Saturday, September 27, 2014 at 11:00am from the Harvest Baptist Church in Ferriday. Burial will follow at Ferriday Cemetery with Bishop Justin Conner officiating.

Ms. Leonard, daughter of Jessie Butler and Linda Leonard was born in Ferriday and died at her brother's residence in Winnsboro, LA following a long illness.

She was a CNA (certified nurse's assistant)and a member of Evening Star Baptist Church.

She is survived by her parents; a daughter, Shandricka Leonard; one sister, Shanetta Leonard all of Ferriday; one brother, Sterry Leonard and his wife, Amanda of Winnsboro; one grandchild, Treyon Green, Jr. of Ferriday. Her adopted mother, Belinda Benjamin and her husband, Johnny of Port Gibson, MS; a special friend, Donald Turner of Ferriday; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousin and other relatives and friends.

Ms. Leonard is preceded in death by one brother, Elbert Leonard.
