Funeral services for Veronica V. Woods, 45, of Waterproof, LA will be held Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 11:00am from the Myrtle Grove Baptist Church in Waterproof with burial following at the Oakwood Cemetery in Waterproof under the directions of Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday, LA. Pastor Jarrod R. Bottley will officiate. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 5 to 6pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Woods, daughter of James and Annie Bell Robinson, was born in Waterproof and died at her residence. She was a physical therapist and a member of Oakwood Baptist Church.

She leaves to cherish her memories:  her devoted and loving mother, Annie Bell Robinson; two brothers, James Robinson, Jr. and his wife, Romando; Christopher Robinson; three sisters, Dorothy Robinson all of Waterproof; Pamela Smith and her husband, James Jr. of Ferriday; Gwendolyn Robinson and her husband, Freddie Cameron of Winnsboro, LA; two aunts, Cassie Robinson and Mary Robinson of Waterproof; three uncles, Arthur Robinson, Jr.  and Willie Robinson both of Chicago, IL; McKinley Robinson of New Orleans, LA. And a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives, friends and loved ones.

Preceding her in death is her father.
