Funeral services for Vickie Darline Evans, 58, of Ferriday, LA will be held Monday, October 14, 2019 at 11:00am from the Shady Acres Pentecostal Church in Ferriday with Brother Arlie Rowley officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the directions of Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday. Visitation will be held Sunday beginning at 4:pm at the church.

Mrs. Evans, daughter of Louis Hilbert and Linnie Harris Evans was born in Ferriday and died unexpectedly at her residence.

Her survivors are:  one son, Travis McCartney and his spouse, Ryan of Pineville, LA; two grandchildren, Emma and Alex McCartney; four brothers, l. C. Evans of Vidalia, LA; Darrell Evans; Mark Evans and his wife, Kim all of Ferriday; Charles Harris of Lismore, LA. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Mrs. Evans is preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Rickie Evans and one nephew, `Matthew Louis Evans.
