Funeral services for Vivian Carter, 84, of Ferriday, LA, who passed on Dec. 13, 2024, at her residence, will be at 11:30 AM, Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2024, The Harvest BC, 305 Lake Dr., in Ferriday, with Pastor Charles Chandler officiating.

Burial will follow at the National Cemetery, Natchez, MS, under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home, in Ferriday.

Visitation will be on Monday from 3 to 5PM at the funeral home.

Vivian Beard Carter was born on Oct. 21, 1940, in Wildsville, LA, the daughter of George and Alberta Beard.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph Jefferson Carter; one son, Joseph Carter; one brother, Rickey Beard.

Mrs. Vivian Carter leaves to mourn her two daughters, Andrea Green (Floyd), Vanessa Carter, both of Powder Springs, GA; one brother, Norman Collins; three grandchildren, Amanda Leapold (Reginald), Forney, TX, Terence Green (Miracle), Dallas, GA, Cameron Carter, Power Springs, GA; great-grandchildren, Kailyn, Audrey, Paisley, Carter, all of Forney, TX, Atlas Ares, both of Dallas, GA; other family, church family and friends.
