Funeral services for William H. "Buddy" Arrington, Sr., 90, of Vidalia, LA will be held Friday, November 18, 2016 at 11:00am from Triumph Baptist Church in Vidalia with Rev. Doug Logan officiating. He will be interred beside his wife, Evelyn J. Arrington at the Natchez National Cemetery in Natchez, MS.

Visitation will be held Friday from 5 to 7pm at the church with Masonic rites performed at 6pm.

Mr. Arrington, son of James and Dora Glasper Arrington, was born in Antonish, MO and died at his residence. He was retired from the city water department. He served in the US army during World War II and was a lifetime member of the Pride of Vidalia #106 Masonic Lodge.

His survivors are: four sons, Malcolm Arrington and his wife, Kim of Powder Springs, GA; Rickie Arrington and his wife, Deirdra; William Arrington, Jr. all of Vidalia; Kelvin Arrington of Houston, Tx; three daughters, Patricia Profice and her husband, Carl; Nada Riley all of Natchez; Trudy Williams and her husband, Bob of Vidalia; one brother, Clarence Arrington and his wife, Olivia of Los Angeles, CA.

Also a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and his lodge brothers.

Mr. Arrington is preceded in death by his parents, his and his wife and a son-in-law, Bernard Riley.
