Funeral services for William Dishman, Jr. 77, of Ferriday, LA were held October 22, 2014 in Denver, CO. He was laid to rest beside his wife, Francis Dishman in the Ft. Logan National Cemetery in Denver. He died October 13, 2014 at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday.

He was the son of William and Leola Dishman and was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church in Ferriday.

He is survived by one daughter, Stacey Thomas; two boys he raised as his own sons, Marquese Thomas and Isaiah Thompson; one aunt, Victoria Taylor; three close family friends, Augustine Skipper, Virginia Washington and Lawrence Martin all of Ferriday; a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mr. Dishman was a United States Army veteran.

He is preceded in death by his wife; his parents; one brother, Sonny Dishman and one sister, Carrie Dishman.
