Funeral services for Willie B. Edwards, Jr. 81, of Ferriday, LA will be held November 27, 2017 at 11:00am at Concordia Funeral Home. Burial will be held November 28, 2017 at 10:00am at the Natchez National Cemetery in Natchez, MS with military honors.

Mr. Edwards, son of Willie B. and Amanda Lewis Edwards, was born in Monterey, LA and died at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday. He was a US Army veteran, having served during the Viet Nam Era with over twenty years of service to his country. He was also a former correctional officer in Concordia Parish..

His survivors are: one son, Chris Edwards of Ferriday; three sisters, Sadie Fletcher of Atlanta, GA; Lula Grayson of Ferriday and Suebretta Edwards of West Covina, CA; one sister-in-law, Ann Edwards of Los Angeles, CA; two grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; one son, Willie Butch Edwards, III and one brother, Ernest Raymond Edwards.
