Funeral services for Willie Mae McCoy, 74, of Vidalia, LA was held August 24, 2019 from the Greater Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church in Vidalia. Burial followed at the Mercy Seat Baptist Church Cemetery in Natchez, MS. Rev. Walter Sago officiated.

Ms. McCoy, daughter of Travis McCoy, Sr. and Bertha Middleton McCoy was born in Natchez and died at the Christus St. Frances Hospital in Alexandria, LA. She was a retired teacher's assistant for Concordia Parish School System.

Her survivors are:  one son, Lanell "Bubba" McCoy of Vidalia; one daughter, Muriel McCoy of Natchez; one sister, Shirley Rice and her husband, Johnnie of Vidalia; five grandchildren, Brianna Scott of Natchez; DeMarcus McCoy and DeMikal McCoy of Vidalia; MaKyra McCoy of Ferriday and Je'Zermie "Ryelle" Roach.

Ms. McCoy is preceded in death by her parents; one daughter and grandson, Megan McCoy and LaFrederick McCoy; four sisters, Ethel Brown, Martha Brown, Barbara Johnson and Ruby Dominique; and  one brother, Travis McCoy, Jr.
