Funeral services for Dr. Willie Hardman Thomas, PHD, of Tuskegee, Alabama, formerly of Ferriday, LA were held January 10, 2026 at Concordia Funeral Home, Ferriday, LA. Burial was held January 12, 2026 at the Natchez National Cemetery with military honors in Natchez, MS   under the directions of Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday.

Mr. Thomas, son of Tom and Minerva Feltus Thomas was born in Ferriday and died at the Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery, AL.

Dr. Thomas is survived by his wife, Odessa and two children, Wreneisha and Wrenford. Also a number of siblings, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
