Graveside services for Xavier Deon McGowan, Jr., infant son of Xavier D. McGowan, Sr. and Kaya Washington of Vidalia, LA will be held Friday, February 3, 2023 at 1:00pm from the Vidalia Cemetery in Vidalia, LA under the directions of Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday, LA. Pastor Leon Dixon will officiate.

The infant was born and died on January 26, 2023 at the Natchez Merit Hospital in Natchez, MS.

He is survived by his parents of Vidalia; his big sister, Zaylei McGowan; maternal grandparents, Shonna Riley and Don Washington all of Vidalia; paternal grandmother, Candance McGowan of Natchez; maternal great-grandmother, Becky Brown McKeel Albert and her husband, Tim of Ferriday; paternal great-grandparents, Clara McGowan and Joseph Miles both of Natchez.

The infant was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Fred Brown of Ferriday.
